Tara Devi Temple Shimla - Tara Devi a
beautiful hill station, which is located around beautiful sceneries and
is 11 kms away from Shimla bus stand. In Hindi language Tara defines
star so, the name Tara Devi had taken from a temple that dedicated to
the Goddess of the Stars. This beautiful hill station is also famous for
having head quarters of Bharat Scout and Guides. This historic temple
was built about 250 years back by 96th generation of Sen Dynasty, Raja
Bhupendra Sen. This well-known Tara Devi Temple is situated on Tarav
Parvat in the western side of Shimla. Tara Devi Temple is not only
famous for hill station, it is a temple where lots of devotees visit to
