Initially the golf course was a 9-hole course which was later expanded to 18 holes. It was discovered by the British Viceroy, Lord Curzon. Curzon was fascinated by the divine beauty of Naldehra and spent hours romancing with Naldehra's cedar woods. He was so much captivated by the beauty of Naldehra that he named his daughter “Alexander Naldehra”. The favorite camping site of Lord Curzon has become a famous tourist destination and his establishment- the golf course has become the loveliest golf course in India.
The beautiful hill station can be visited all the year round. The temperature, in summers, varies between 15 degrees to 28 degrees. In winters, the temperature drops down till 4 degrees.
