Chail is one of the smallest hill stations of India located in Himachal Pradesh in the North. This small hill station, well-known for its natural beauty and wonderful sceneries, is around 43kms from Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Chail is an ideal place for the people searching for a peaceful place away from hustle and bustle.Till 19th century Chail was a little beautiful village in the sleepy mountain. In 1893, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala was exiled because of eloping with the daughter of Lord Kitchner, the Commander in Chief of the British Indian Army. Maharaja Bhupinder decided to build a new summer capital better than Shimla. This gave rise to the new summer destination Chail. He developed the world’s highest cricket field in Chail.
